What we believe

What we believe

Confidence, not guesswork.

You don't need to know a heuchera from a hellebore, or exactly what will thrive where. We take care of the plant knowledge and decisions, then give you simple guidance for planting, watering and care.

Minutes, not weekends.

A watering can before work. A quick tidy when something has finished. Looking after it should be a small pleasure in your week, not another project to manage.

Something to look forward to.

Planting shouldn't peak for a few weeks and then feel forgotten. Each collection is designed to thrive across the season, with flowers, foliage and new growth taking their turn as the months unfold.

Our story

Blythe began with an observation.

The people around me put so much thought into their homes. They knew what they liked and how they wanted a room to feel. But step outside, and that confidence disappeared.

Gardening seemed to come with its own language, endless things to know and, more than anything, time none of us really had.

I found my own way into gardening during lockdown, when life suddenly gave me some of that time. I started to notice the small things. The anticipation of waiting for something to appear. Five minutes outside that somehow made a busy day feel a little less busy.

When life sped up again, I realised I didn't want to lose any of that. And I didn't think we should need endless time or years of gardening knowledge to have it either.

I wanted to rewrite the rules. To make planting fit the way we live now, while keeping all the good bits: the rituals, the changing seasons and those little moments of joy along the way.

That's why I started Blythe.
