How much sun does your spot get?
Designed for your light. Each variation of our autumn and winter planter brings together plants chosen to thrive in your space, while keeping the palette and character of the collection.
Step outside and look at the spot. You’re checking whether the sun actually lands on it, rather than whether it simply looks bright.
If you can, take a look in the morning, around midday and again in the afternoon to get a sense of how long the sun stays there.
Checking in autumn or winter? Your spot may get a little more sun in spring and summer, when the sun sits higher in the sky.

Collection 001 · First Frost will be dispatched by 28 October 2026. Collections are usually sent with DPD, on a next day service to most of mainland Great Britain. We'll email you with tracking when yours is on its way.
Complimentary delivery across mainland Great Britain, on every order, with no minimum spend. We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales, excluding the Scottish islands. For this collection, we're not able to deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or BFPO addresses.
No. About twenty minutes, and the only tool you need is a trowel. Everything comes labelled, the bulbs are bagged in the order they go in, and the card shows what goes where and how deep.
Unbox it as soon as it arrives and keep everything somewhere cool, sheltered and out of direct sun until you're ready to plant. Give the plants a drink and aim to plant them as soon as you can.
Let us know and we'll put it right. Send us a photo if you can, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
